Multi-age Learning Highlights
Multi-age classrooms are student-centred classrooms in which students learn across two or more grades and are taught by the same teacher for two or more years.
Multi-age classrooms recognize that each student is at a different stage of learning and focus on the developmental stage of the learner.
Multi-age classrooms provide students with stability and an ongoing relationship with a teacher.
Multi-age classrooms contain a range of social relationships that closely reflect the diverse social situations individuals encounter in athletics, families, communities, and workplaces.
